The Blast is set for October 5!
The Blast will be held at Lasada Lodge on October 5th! Join us for a day of outdoor competitions, great fellowship over an evening meal, a message of encouragement, amazing prizes, and more!
Details for the Blast 2024
Start Time: 1:00 pm but arrive a little early.
Divisions: Sporting Clays, 3D Archery, Pistol, Rifle, One Shot Turkey, and BB Gun!
What to Expect:
- 1:00 - Begin Participating in the different divisions - Some will start with Sporting Clays and others can begin with any of the other divisions. Not everyone will be able to start with the Sporting Clays since it will become congested if everyone starts with them.
- Aprox. 5:30 - Supper
-6:00 - Speaker - Josh Gelatt
-6:30 - Prizes/Awards
What Should I Bring: Any firearm or bow that you need in order to participate in the divisions that you plan on partaking in.

Josh will be this year’s speaker for the Blast. He is an avid outdoorsman and passionate about the faith.
Cast & Blast Men’s Ministries
The Cast & Blast hosts incredible (free) events that men are sure to enjoy and win prizes that any outdoorsman would love! The next Cast & Blast event will be the Blast with all sorts of outdoor competitions AND we will be crowning the 2024 Outdoorsman of the Year!
The Cast & Blast Ministries
Four years ago, a small group of men at Codell Community Church had the idea of hosting Christ-centered events for men centered around the outdoors. This vision included a great time of community, winning amazing prizes, and hearing how Jesus has impacted and changed lives through the outdoors. Thus spawned the "Cast & Blast." These events have provided men the opportunity to have fun, eat great food, compete against others, win prizes (like guns, kayaks, gun safes, grills/griddles, guided out-of-state fishing/hunting trips and so much more), and hear about the importance of having Jesus in their lives.
